Adventure in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Here’s my latest adventure. I had a lot of fun exploring the Great Smoky Mountain National Park during Thanksgiving. There were sooo many people and dogs, specially in Gatlinburg TN. We expected a quiet and calm getaway, we were very surprised to see the crowds.

I got to sniff at many new smells, on everything, everywhere in the hiking trails where dogs are allowed. I sniffed the scents of many new animals like deer, elk, and black bear. I reached the highest peak at 6,640 feet by hitching a ride in the car, where I sniffed the mountain air and watched the sunset. I also explored the variety of shops in the city of Gatlinburg, where I was drawn to sniff at food vendors, potpourri, and moonshine.

I got too excited sometimes, and Aldy’s hands got tired from holding the leash. At night, I sleep like a puppy.
